International Coastal Cleanup

International Coastal Clean Up is an annual event that helps us keep our shoreline free of marine plastics and refuse! Annual Coastal Shoreline cleanup for the community to help keep our waters free of marine microplastics and litter. Join members from the community and different partners for our annual coastal cleanup with the Randall's Island Park Alliance and the Ocean Conservancy. With miles of rocky coastline, Randall's Island Park can always use a hand removing marine plastics, microplastics and litter that gather between the rocks and in our marshes. Meeting at Icahn Stadium, volunteers will be sent to various places on the island to collect and record what they have removed from the island. Last year volunteers collected more than 500 lbs of litter and plastics permanently removing them from our water systems. Registration is required here.
