New Time! Summer on the Hudson: Sunset Sounds

The Jazz Foundation of America presents a spirited sunset concert featuring renowned bandleaders playing a variety of jazz and Latin styles. About the Performers: Marcus Persiani & Trio CachimboA modern version of the classic George Shearing piano trios, Trio Cachimbo draws from a repertoire of standards, jazz and pop tunes to seamlessly meld a beat that can move a crowd. Led by the versatile pianist Marcus Persiani, who has worked with a wide variety of major artists including Willie Colon, Mario Bauza, the Sugar Hill Quartet and George Coleman, the band also features the talented conguero Matthew Gonzalez.
