New York Transit Museum Bus Festival

On September 19, the New York Transit Museum and MTA New York City Transit present the 2026 Bus Festival at Brooklyn Bridge Park! Climb aboard and explore the evolution of NYC’s bus fleet, enjoy activities for all ages, meet the heroes who keep our city moving, and snap a picture-perfect photo of vintage vehicles with the Manhattan skyline as your backdrop. Bus Festival is free! The event runs rain or shine, from 10am-3:30pm, at Emily Warren Roebling Plaza. Advance registration is encouraged, but not required, on the New York Transit Museums website here . This year’s Bus Festival will feature special activities in the New York Transit Museum App for visitors of all ages. Buses and equipment on display are subject to change.
