Volunteer Workday: Howard Garden

Join Howard Garden and NYC Parks GreenThumb for an engaging volunteer day to prepare the garden for new raised beds! Volunteers can get involved with weeding, dismantling old raised beds, and leveling soil. We'll provide all the tools, training, and guidance to ensure a productive and safe volunteer day! Oct. 21) – Filling Beds & PlantingHoward Garden was founded in the late 1980's by community activists and artists who've made a lasting impact in the Brownsville community. These gardeners are still active to this day, and are excited to pass along the knowledge and skills gained through decades of environmental stewardship.
