Led by veteran yoga and meditation teacher Dianne Scott of Joy of Living Yoga. Honey Hive Tour with Bee University NYC Get an up-close look at urban beekeeping and learn about honey bees, pollinators, and their role in our ecosystem. Ages 8+. Protective gear provided. Participants must wear closed-toed shoes, tall socks, and long, lightweight pants. 1 PM Intro to Ancestral Herbalism with The Black Mermaid Society Explore the foundations of ancestral herbalism, the energetics and àṣé of plants, and how fresh herbs can be used to create a spiritual bath. Beginner Chess Lesson New to chess? Join National Chess Master James Black of KnightShiftChess for a free introductory lesson. All ages are welcome. 2 PM Sanuces Tai Chi + Qi Gong Healing Arts with Six Travis Join Grandmaster Lumumba Hernandez for an introduction to Sanuces Tai Chi and Qi Gong, a wellness practice rooted in Sanuces-Ryu Jiu-Jitsu. Through gentle movement, breathwork, and balance, participants will explore the mind-body connection and foundational healing practices. Open to all ages and experience levels. All materials are provided, and each participant will create a silk scarf to take home. 3:30 PM Where Do We Go From Here? A Community Conversation on Climate Justice Join Kwolanne Felix, Haley Duren, Vanessa Sanchez, and moderator Noella Williams for a conversation on climate justice, animal rights, ecofeminism, and the ways communities can build more sustainable futures.
