City of Forest Day - Forest Walk & Birding

Come explore the urban forest of Randall's Island Park through a guided nature walk. We will identify and age trees, watch birds, and learn about the relationships between the two. Binoculars will be available to borrow. This event is a part of City of Forest Day which is an annual day of activities across the city to raise awareness of the importance of the New York City urban forest. City of Forest Day is organized by Forests for All NYC, a coalition of organizations across the city working to demonstrate the vast support for the New York City urban forest. Location: Meet at Icahn Stadium Registration is required. Will open 9/19 at 1 PM.
