NYC holiday markets 2026: dates, hours and what each one is like

The biggest and longest-running market, set around a free ice rink. Hours are 11am to 8pm on weekdays and 10am to 8pm on weekends. The glass kiosks are mostly gifts and crafts, with food stalls around the rink and The Lodge bar and food hall overlooking the ice. B/D/F/M to 42 St–Bryant Park, or 7 to Fifth Ave.

Urbanspace says the market is back in 2026 but had not posted dates. In 2025 it ran from mid-November to December 24 with about 185 vendors, a mix of handmade goods and food. It is the market with the most local makers and the least tourist merchandise. 4/5/6/L/N/Q/R/W to 14 St–Union Square.

A smaller market in a line of stalls along the park wall, opening later than the others. In 2025 it ran through December. It pairs well with a walk into Central Park. A/B/C/D/1 to 59 St–Columbus Circle.

The only major market that is entirely indoors, which makes it the one to go to in freezing rain. Vendors skew toward jewelry, prints and small design objects. In 2025 it opened on November 10 and closed on Christmas Eve, with weekday hours running into the evening.

Brooklyn, Queens and the Bronx get pop-up holiday markets run by neighborhood groups, breweries and libraries, usually on single weekends in December. They are announced late, and we add them to the live calendar as they are published.
